NJNG is proud to partner with Interfaith Neighbors, an Asbury Park-based nonprofit, to provide home ownership opportunities for working families who would otherwise be unable to afford a house. The program began in 1996 when NJNG made a contribution of $25,000. Since that time, 19 affordable housing units have been offered to qualifying families in Asbury Park and Neptune.
The most recent project undertaken through this partnership is the renovation of two homes in Asbury Park, one of which is our first modular home. The effort will contribute to the ongoing revitalization of Asbury Park and will be Interfaith Neighbors largest project to date.
