We are privileged to support so many hard-working organizations throughout our service area. It is always an honor to receive recognition from our community partners. Here are some of our most recent accomplishments:

The Arc of Monmouth presented New Jersey Natural Gas with their 2009 Supported Services Award.

The March of Dimes recognized New Jersey Natural Gas as the #1 Team in Monmouth County for the 2009 March for Babies. Additionally, New Jersey Natural Gas received a Gold Award for the most improved team and Wraparound Award Winner for being Central Jersey Sponsor.

New Jersey Natural Gas received an award for Outstanding Support of United Way of Monmouth County.

A Bike MS Champion Sponsor award was presented to New Jersey Natural Gas by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

New Jersey Natural Gas received special recognition for 25 years of membership in the Southern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce on February 5, 2009.

New Jersey Natural Gas was honored as a 2008 Humanitarian of the Year by The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Catholic Charities Diocese of Trenton presented New Jersey Resources with a Leadership Sponsor Award.

EarthShare NJ presented their Environmental Leadership Award to New Jersey Natural Gas in 2009.

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Environmental Stewardship Initiative recognized New Jersey Natural Gas’ Howell LNG Plant for its voluntary and proactive measures taken to go beyond compliance in an effort to improve the environment and ensure a sustainable future.

The Central Jersey Club of The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. presented their Community Advocate Award to New Jersey Natural Gas in recognition of their support for the communities they serve throughout Monmouth, Ocean and Morris counties.

The Jersey Shore Council Boy Scouts of America presented a special limited edition 2009 Friends of Scouting Patch in appreciation of New Jersey Natural Gas’s 2009 Chairman’s Club Membership.

The New Jersey Conference of Mayors honored New Jersey Natural Gas as a Gold Level Member of the NJCM Business Council for 2009.
