Submitting events to the NJ Living Community Calendar
Have an event you'd like to enter on NJ Living's online calendar? It's easy to do. But before you start typing, please read the following information on how to use the calendar.
About NJ Living's Community Calendar
The calendar is searchable by keywords, day, month, event category and location (town and county), making it a useful resource for your neighbors and for audiences you are trying to reach. At this time, events are limited to communities that New Jersey Resources serves in Monmouth, Ocean, Morris and Middlesex counties.
Who can post events?
The calendar is free and open to the public. However, you must be 13 years or older to post events.
What kind of events can be posted?
The categories for the calendar include arts & entertainment, business, community, education, sports & recreation and nonprofits. Events must be open to the general public and must have a finite run. For example, a month-long theatrical production would be appropriate but ongoing Friday karaoke nights at a local nightclub would not.
How does the submission form work?
When you use the submission form, you will be filling in several fields of information. After submitting your information, it will be reviewed by the NJ Living staff. If approved, we will make every effort to post the information within 48 hours. Please review our User Agreement for our policies on accepting postings.
